Philip Johnson was Professor of Oncology and Translational Research and Director of the Cancer Research UK Cancer Trials Unit at the University of Birmingham and an Associate Director of the National Cancer Research Network. He is now retired, working part time as Professor of Translational Oncology at the University of Liverpool and The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust.
