Advanced Summer School in Physics 2007: Frontiers in Contemporary Physics EAV07 (AIP Conference Proceedings)

These proceedings include lecture notes from six courses in modern physics including cosmology, high energy, statistical, medical, and solid state physics. An introduction to cosmology and the restrictions to dark energy models are presented. All the papers included in this volume have been thoroughly peer-reviewed. The high energy physics found in future colliders is discussed, as well as synchrotron radiation, which turns out to be a brilliant tool for medical applications.
