Blueprint Reading For Electricians

Being able to accurately read and understand blueprints is a “must-have” skill as an electrician. In order to master this skill, students must have a basic knowledge of blueprints and practice reading them; Blueprint Reading for Electricians provides this knowledge and practice. Beginning with an introduction to the general terms, principles, and applications involved in the design process, students gain a foundational knowledge of what elements are found on a blueprint. While mastering these design concepts, they are simultaneously asked to apply design principles, adding electrical devices and wiring to basic construction blueprints provided. This unique, hands-on learning system guarantees students are able to not only read blueprints but understand them.
