Its design is to better help Christians to understand and explain their faith, and to present persons interested in Christianity with a rational basis for Christian belief. While there are good books on each of the topics in the seven chapters and short tracts, that deal briefly with each subject, there are relatively few books of this size that deal thoroughly with the topics in a manner that is easily accessible to the interested lay person.
