Talking out of School: An Embellished Memoir of Students' Capers and Camaraderie in the Fifties

It is 40 years later or more when your grandson asks you if you had engaged in capers like those in Gramma's high school yearbook. Yes, you tell him, they were often more dangerous, like-wow-climbing a water tower; flying in a student-piloted airplane; skipping school to drive in a "funeral procession"; fooling a fellow student "in love" at an honors convention; pulling a prank on two "lovers" at a swimmers' beach party; and attending an all-night prom and a somber graduation that ends with sad news for one of the newspaper reporters. These events and more are in this memoir of fifteen students who contributed their stories for my embellished recollections hereby told by the editor and his two reporters. In addition, the events were arranged "chronologically" for the class of 1959. Now, compare your capers with these which took place in the halcyon '50s, without illegal substances.
