Opportunstic Seamless Localization

This work explores the possibilities of opportunistic seamless localization to create a multi-modal system using commonly used portable devices. This work is centred around the following hypotheses: By utilizing sensors of daily used portable devices, an opportunistic, ubiquitous localization system can be created without the need to install any additional dedicated hardware.
