The Makita Chronicles (Volume 1)

In the first book of the Makita Chronicles, Jade Snake has just become the youngest member of the Makita people's Warrior class and after a surprise attack by the Shadow Ninja, she becomes the youngest leader of the Makita as well. Her celebrations are cut short however when the Ancestors tell her to run to protect the ones she is in charge of. Now she's back with the help of old companions and ready to rid the world of a threat to the Makita's way of life and the rest of the world's as a result.
