“And The Winner…I Mean Wiener Is…is a scream-out-loud comedy of revenge, bizarre love, and mishaps.†Radiesh, a transplanted scientist from India, and Johnson, a transplanted actor from England, both laid off by Mr. Carr due to a weak economy, become entangled in a bizarre love triangle vow to seek revenge in pursuit of the Leo Award, television commercials answer to Hollywood’s grand ceremony. While watching television, Johnson hatches an idea of hosting a television show criticizing television commercials with the intent of sabotaging Mr. Carr’s commercials while Radiesh competes against Mr. Carr by inventing an energy drink for pets. Learning about Radiesh’s idea, Bradley, a childhood enemy, conspires with his associate Sheila to steal Radiesh’s formula. One day, Radiesh forgets the secret ingredient so he searches for love by inventing Mood Pantyhose that reveals the mood of women. During a tour of his factory, Sheila attempts to seduce Radiesh into divulging the formula to his energy drink but fails. During a party, Bradley, dressed as Bridget, tries to seduce Radiesh but also fails. Desperate, Sheila asks Radiesh to marry her which triggers his memory in remembering the formula and later shares it with Johnson. During the wedding, Radiesh sees Bridget trying to coax the formula out of Johnson and leaves the altar to stop Bradley. With only months away, Radiesh and Johnson race to develop a commercial in pursuit of the Leo Award. Using the most bizarre, unconventional methods to seek love and the Leo Award, “And The Winner…I Mean Wiener Is…†is a laughgasim of multiple multitudes. A scream-out-loud comedy of revenge, bizarre love, and mishaps, it’s as American as baseball, hot dogs, and apple pie, or the proverbial pie in your eye, but not in any particular order.
