Illuminations

As I was pondering over things in my life recently, several incidents began to stand out — ways that the Lord had touched me at different times and in many different ways. Probably this has happened to all of us and we may not even be aware of it at the time. God is often very subtle when He speaks to us. We have to open our eyes and our hearts to Him to be ready for His Spirit to illumine us where we are. This little book is an attempt to relate when the Lord has made Himself especially significant or apparent to me - some of the milestones, if you will, in my walk with Jesus. Some of them were not apparent to me at the time of their occurrence but stood out later as I look back on my life. This narrative is not complete as it would be much too long if I were to relate every time God re- vealed Himself to me. Instead I have chosen to share some of the different ways in which I have really sensed God’s presence in my life and the ways He has taken care of me, shown His love for me, or solved my problems.
