This book covers some of the best restaurants in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Through his job as journalist, restaurant reviewer, and food and beverage editor, the author has visited most of the eateries in Ho Chi Minh City, as a result he has selected some of the best ones for this book. The reviews are extensive, and paired with several pictures of each restaurant. For each restaurant, reviews of several of the dishes are made, indicating the price of some of the dishes as reference, prices are in local currency VND (currently at April 2014 $1=21.100 VND, £=35.000 VND). This book is not about cheap eats but more about top eats, without necessarily being expensive.
