Carolina Country: Looking at the Way We Were

Carolina Country, the monthly magazine published by North Carolina's Touchstone Energy cooperatives, asked their readers to donate pictures for a book depicting life in rural North Carolina before 1970. The resulting book has 220 duotones, each with a personal caption by its contributor, all presenting a way of life that is almost forgotten today.
