Health of Nations: Medicine, Disease and Development in the Third World

This work focuses on the challenge to Third World countries of managing the problems resulting from the complex interrelationship between health and development. It assumes that most of the problems are multi-faceted and that solutions will, therefore, require an interdisciplinary approach.
