A majority of the data was compiled from various publications provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and FEMA, the CDC, Public Safety Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada and others.
Some additions / changes in revised 5th Edition include Power Loss Mitigation (tips on generators), Civil Disturbances or Civil Unrest, moved nuke appendix up into Terrorism topic, new First Aid topics (avian & swine flu, C. diff and Hands-only CPR) and much, much more.
