Digital Bomb Calorimeter: Its Contain and Procedure

Bomb calorimeter measures the calorie value of the coal, Benzoic acid. First we make (1gm) pellet of the coal in the pellet press apparatus, by the pressure. After making a pellet we take a bomb and attach the wire in the cross and tide the (10 cm) cotton thread on the wire and cross put in the bomb. Now connect the oxygen line top of the bomb and add the 400-kg/cm2 oxygen. Open the oxygen pipe valve and now hold the bomb and put in to the vessel. Now we close the jacket with combined lead and put the sensor for the temperature measurement and put the stirrer motor and join the electrodes on the bomb through the combined lid. Now in the digital bomb calorimeter note the initial temperature after this set zero by the adjust button now switch move in the rise the temperature and give the fire by the fire switch. After some time temperature become rise and in the few second temperature become constant at that time pellet burning completely. Now note the constant temperature and calculate the standard value of the coal and by this calculate the Cv of the coal.
