The book starts with a couple of chapters on the founder of Buddhism, its teachings, its ethic, spiritual freedom. The book then proceeds to describe the uniqueness of the faith as practiced in India, Ceylon, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, China and Japan. The book describes the philosophies of the faith in these countries, its temples and monks, its primary saints and sects, the clergy and the book ends with a chapter on Buddhism and Christianity.
