From the supplier: The Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) standards for external financial statements by nonprofit organizations is contained in the FASB's Statement No. 117. The statement was the culmination of an FASB project that sought to address the inconsistencies in nonprofit organizations' accounting and reporting practices. The FASB had earlier released guidelines on accounting for depreciation and contributions in nonprofit organizations.
