From the supplier: Adopting a trigger price strategy model in the analysis of the US brewing industry from 1964 to 1992 reveals a continuing intensification in the competition within the industry. The mechanism has been applied in analyzing competitive behavior in industries that exhibit large stochastic declines due to demand fluctuations. The findings indicate that the increase in competitive behavior that occurs in the railroad and steel industry also happens in the brewing industry.
