A rare, 1966 2nd edition HARDCOVER of the classic book, HITCHCOCK TRUFFAUT A Definitive Study of Alfred Hitchcock by Francois Truffaut. Tight, straight spine. Pages in overall excellent condition. Boards in overall good condition (only listed as acceptable above to comply with amazon standards due to tears in the cover - if cover didn't have tears, book would be classified as GOOD) with some corner, edge wear in spots. Dustjacket intact with corner, edge and surface wear in spots and some chipping to the spine edges and some edge tears - 3/4" on top right corner, 1/2" bottom right corner, a few tiny edge tears along top center edge, 3/4" on top left edge of back of cover, and the largest tear, 1 1/2" on top right corner of back cover. But as you can see from the photos, the book still looks in overall excellent condition. Rarely do you find vintage copies of this book in hardcover form.
