A lavish elephant folio-sized production containing 23 offset color thang-ka reproductions on toilé mille-fils paper from Montévrain within folders of hand-crafted Tibetan paper made from the bark of Himalayan shrubs. Each folder contains explanatory texts in Tibetan, French, and English. Complete with an illustrated introductory booklet with a preface by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. The entire package is housed in a stunning brocade box with the title in gilt on the spine, a printed icon on the front cover, bone clasps and a weighted metal seal used to keep the prints in place.
