The Last Election is a political thriller with a supernatural twist.

2012 A.D.

Washington, D.C.:
During the run-up to the presidential election, incumbent President Emmanuel Bonsam slowly spirals into insanity and contrives a murderous plot to hold on to power. Aided by his lead “shadow agent” Jorge Delgado, Bonsam sets out to exterminate anyone who threatens his reelection.

Lansing, Michigan:
Governor Samuel Clark chooses U.S. Speaker of the House Kenna Martineau as his vice-presidential running mate. They soon discover that running against Bonsam is a dangerous game.

La Costa Maya, Mexico:
A team of archaeologists exploring the Maya ruins of Chacchoben uncover an ancient artifact marked with strange symbols never before seen. UVA student archaeologist Ixchel Cobán is haunted by horrific visions of President Bonsam as she unravels the artifact's mysterious message.
