Iqbal: The 20th Century Reformer (The Islamic Renaissance Series)

Shariati says: I shall say at the beginning what I should have saved for the end: When I think of Iqbal, I see a person like Ali but with qualitative and quantitative dimensions proportionate to the attitudes of a 20th century human being. Why? Because Ali is a person who responds to the sufferings and to the multi-needs of human beings in all ages, not only through his thoughts and words, but also through his being and life.
