Adam leaves his home one morning to go to work and walks into a nightmare. Something has happened to people that turns them into violent, deranged savages. Fortunately, he is rescued by Steve who gives Adam protection in his flat. Over the coming days, Steve & Adam work out how to survive in a world full of horror & violence. They also form a close emotional & sexual bond.

This book is by Robert MacNeil, author of the book 'The Year The World Turned' and who has made quite a reputation for thought-provoking, intelligently written books.

Note that this book does contain explicit sexual scenes and should therefore not be read by anyone under the age of 18. It also contains graphic descriptions of horror.
