Fab Five for Trigonometry Level Fifteen: Modeling Simple Harmonic Motion

Simple harmonic motion equations are used to model vibratory motion in a myriad of interesting word problems which includes the reality of diminishing motion over increasing time due to resistive forces. In Level Fifteen, damping factors for equations are introduced as analytical vehicles for describing the physical phenomena of diminishing motion over time. Detailed TI 84+graphing calculator commands are included which fosters technology skills that extrapolate well beyond solving trigonometric problems to better time management on SAT and AP testing assessments.
