TROPHY WIFE

A short story.
Holly Harrison had it all. Just as she was completing her Masters in business administration, Phil Harrison approached her with a business proposition. It was too good to pass up.
At twenty-one, she married the much older man. She married the very successful entrepreneur, who had started. Phil's Phabulous Phranks. The marriage gave her everything she could possibly want, except love and sex. She was a trophy wife. Eye candy for his arm when he went anywhere. An image to reinforce his virility even at an advanced age, but it was a marriage filled with neither love nor sex. At twenty-five, she was unwilling to give up on her own needs for love and sex.
The marriage wasn't all show. Phil had picked her out specifically for her mind. He wanted someone he could trust to take over his business until his young son was old enough to understand the business. To the world, she was the dumb blonde. While others thought it was a joke when he named her CEO, it had not been a joke. She had the power to run the company.
All that she lacked in her life was that man she could love. Late that summer she finally found the man she had been looking for all her life. But would he make her life complete or tear it apart, destroying everything in her world.
