Cariboo Christmas is a compilation of short stories focusing on pioneer homesteads and their Christmas celebrations.
Marianne Van Osch is an author, historian and storyteller. A retired teacher, she lives in the small community of Forest Grove in the Cariboo District of British Columbia. She has written several biographies of Cariboo pioneers and compiled and edited works by other authors. Her freelance writing appears in magazines and in the 100 Mile Free Press. Cariboo Christmas, a collection of short stories, is her sixth book.

About the Illustrator
In 1977 Tom Godin gave up a promising career in lumber‑piling in order to set out on the paint–smeared path of art. Known for his drawings and paintings of birds, he lives in the Cariboo.
