Sasha McPherson strived for perfection upon her parents’ request, but failed in attempt and fell into a world of trouble and chaos. At the sweet age of sixteen it wasn’t hard to tell that she was on a road of no return when drugs overcame her common sense and sex from random men had become more of a job than actual pleasure. Haunted by her demons inside an old boathouse-turned-party house of sorts infamously named Royale’s she loses herself on a regular and regrets every decision she’s made, including allowing herself to pump her veins “liquid love”.

Abel Morone is on his way to graduating college with a degree in pharmacology and a minor in psychology. On his free time he and his brother David sell concoctions from the university laboratory to waiting addicts inside Royale’s. With a major research project on his back, Abel racks his brain on how he can outdo his colleagues and soar above everyone else’s average for an easy ride. It isn’t until he spots young, high and delusional Sasha that a light bulb brightens above his head.

Unfortunately for the pair, after Abel drops money to spend time with Sasha he learns more and finds himself addicted to their conversation, her presence, and tries to fight the urge of wanting her in more ways than that of mere conversation and observation. With half-lies, deceit and a winding road of withdrawals it’s almost hard to tell which is fiction and which is truth.

Will Abel’s true intent be revealed to Sasha? Will her urges become too much for her? Is Abel capable of helping Sasha escape the grasp of addiction? What exactly is fantasy and what is reality for the two?
