The power of African medicine is enhanced by the use of human body parts; an evil practice to be stamped out in the modern world. Detective Sergeant Dice Modise of the Botswana CID investigates the disappearance of a surveyor, only to find blood and bones. The only witness has fled in fear of his life with the Devil on his heels. Then a homeless man is nowhere to be found... The two cases seem to be linked, and as Modise closes in, so does the killer.
