Dark Horse: Abolition

After a convention of states, where three amendments were approved and sent to the states for ratification, CIA operative Matt Weaver and Texas Secretary of State Jack Nichols discover a dark plot to derail the ratification efforts. With increased terror attacks stateside, and another war in the Middle East looming, Dark Horse Securities, a mysterious corporation with ties to virtually every government on the globe, appears to be behind the plot.
Without knowing who they can trust, Jack continues with his ratification efforts; while Matt and his small private band of brothers, follow what small trail they can to discover the secrets behind Dark Horse Securities.
When the US Congress passes a budget bill obviously meant to strangle and extort key states in the ratification process, Jack and Texas Governor Wade Hayes believe the only way to protect the citizens of the sovereign State of Texas is through secession. Hoping it works as a warning shot to Washington, the secession sets in motion events neither could have seen coming.
As the nation spirals towards a possible civil war and the body count continues to rise in Washington, Jack and Matt race feverishly to protect the ratification process while attempting to uncover who Dark Horse is and what their end game would be. As time runs out, the duo realizes that the possible cure may have put the nation in more danger than the cancer they are fighting.
