Fish-out-of-water Scottish lawyer Sean P Shalloon has choppered into Manhattan to take a deposition, but his mind is not on the job. He is thinking about last night’s waitress, so impressed with his helicopter. In front of him is Ms Blankfein, the corporate banker whose careless due diligence has resulted in the deaths of dozens of poor black people in the South. The surprising, shocking interruption to the legal proceedings launches Sean into the company of a former stripper and junkie who makes Sean reevaluate what he’s been up to his whole life.
