Stroke of Midnight

I cook, I clean, I slave away.
Day in and day out, I’m forced to do all the chores around the house, as well as run the family diner after my classes.
However, my heart has bigger desires.
I want to get away from the life I know and find my own way.
But they make it impossible.
They’re going to destroy me, and I am completely and utterly helpless.
But a secret they’ve been hiding all along will be my escape, and one way or another, I’ll find my happily ever after.
