Workbook to accompany El espejo enterrado

This Workbook accompanies the renowned television series EL ESPEJO ENTERRADO, by Carlos Fuentes, which offers an overview of Hispanic civilization, from Spain through Columbus to contemporary Latin America. Coordinated segment by segment with the five one-hour shows in the series, the Workbook shows instructors how to use the series step by step and prepares students to view each segment of the programs with vocabulary and preview questions. After viewing each segment, students work through comprehension activities that help them organize and express what they have learned in the video. Follow-up questions provide the basis for lively in-class discussions.
