📖 Description
Surface mineral sites, producing mineral and aggregate products, are potentially significant sources of dust. Dust from such sites can adversely affect environmental quality and potentialy represent a nuisance for people who work or live near to them. The aim of this study is to provide guidance on how best to minimize dust generation and the adverse effects of dust, whilst having regard to the need to maintain minerals production in an economic and viable way. Volume 1 highlights issues and summarizes solutions; Volume 2 details the scientific and survey evidence upon which these are based.
