Mechanical Signature Analysis: Theory and Applications

Signature analysis deals with the extraction of information from measured signal patterns, and this book describes those of its aspects which are relevant within the field of Mechanical Engineering. Powerful instrumentation systems, incorporating, sophisticated analysing, processing techniques, are now available to the practitioner, but basic understanding and the capability to choose and evaluate these techniques often suffer because of the misleading ease of applying these.
