An Introduction to Berkeley UNIX and ANSI C

This text introduces readers to a widely used version of UNIX called Berkeley System Distribution - or Berkeley UNIX - and the functional basics of the C programming language in the context of understanding, using and appreciating operating systems. The book is divided into three parts: the UNIX operating system; the C programming language; and system programming with C and UNIX.
