Audel's Auto Engine Tune-up

The term "Tune-Up" in the minds of millions of car owners, signifies better engine performance and economy. To the mechaninc it represents the results of adjustment and/or replacement of parts that have been affected by gradual wear as the car is operated over a period of time. There may be some difference of opinion as to what operations should be included and performed in a tune-up. Generally, the three factors of ignition, compression, and carburetion are accepted as constituting a tune-up. Each factor has an important bearing on the performance of a car. It is the purpose of this book to lead you through a simplified procedure of checking these factors with the end results of better car performance.
