Teaching Guide and Resource Book for A History of US: Book 5

Johns Hopkins University's Talent Development Middle School program developed a series of innovative lesson plans and resource books to accompany A History of US. Each volume offers more than 650 pages of additional material: historical background for the teacher; extensive primary sources; and student cooperative learning activities--featuring simulation and role playing, analysis of primary sources, group investigation, use of websites, reading secondary historical materials, and problem solving.
