The Population of Britain in the 1990s: A Social and Economic Atlas

This atlas uses the latest sources, notably the 1991 Population Census, to provide an up-to-date picture, and to document the principal developments in the distribution, characteristics, and circumstances of the British population. The subjects covered include population change, age structure, household composition, ethnic group, employment and unemployment, housing, health, education, and welfare, as well as making projections about the future map of Britain.
