Black and White Photography

This text is intended for all beginning photography courses. It covers both basic and advanced black and white topics. Coverage of advanced topics, such as the zone system, make this text appropriate for advanced black and white courses. The authors take a contemporary approach to teaching photography by presenting samples of great photography throughout the book. Students gain a greater understanding of the art of photography by studying quality work. The text has more pedagogy because it was written as a college text rather than as a trade book.
