Meteorology Today: An Introduction to Weather, Climate and Environment: Instructor's Manual

This instructor's manual is designed to aid the instructor using the text book "Meteorology Today: An introduction to weather, climate and the environment." It is hoped that you will find this manual of some assistance in preparing lectures, developing lab projects, and writing exams. At the beginning of the manual are proposed course outlines. Next, the manual presents 22 chapters which correlate with the chapters in the text. Each of the manual's chapters is organized as follows: -SUMMARY -- SPECIAL FEATURES OF THIS CHAPTER -- Important key terms -- Teaching suggestions -- Student projects -- Answers to question for thought -- Test questions - The multiple choice questions in the manual provide a complete test bank of more than 800 questions, with the correct answer indicated by an asterisk. Finally, at the end of the manual is a listing of audio-visual aids which I either have used in my own course, or feel would be beneficial to show in an introductory meteorology class.
