In Search of Scum (Cyber Kdz)

The title tells only part of the story of this band of intrepid, international, and totally wired kids who hang out in a virtual neighborhood and take on all sorts of tough guys. Multi-national, these two girls and five boys know their way around not only the Web but also Unix, astronomy, viruses, a good mystery, and plain old friendship.

In this first volume of the Cyber.kdz series, terrorists are planting viruses on big Web sites as a prelude to even more nefarious activity. At the same time, Josh, one of the Cyber.kdz, has learned that his dad has ditched the family. How Josh deals with the loss, and the role his online buddies have in influencing his decision, balances the heady life-saving that's going on as the kdz scheme to stop the terrorists.
