Quaternary Period in Saudi Arabia, Vol. 1: Sedimentological, Hydrogeological, Hydrochemical, Geomorphological, and Climatological Investigations in Central and Eastern Saudi Arabia

The book gives, in addition to a general description of the Quaternary epoch in neighbouring countries, models of how local investigations should be carried out systematically. Thus, it pursues two principal objectives: to fill the information gap on the Quaternary between the West (Northern Africa) and the East (Iranian highland), and to provide a basic background for local investigations. This is the first work of its kind on this area.
