Reading Maps (First Guide to Maps)

This book provides an introduction to maps and their uses, supporting teaching about places and localities beyond children's immediate environment.It teaches relevant KS1 and 2 curriculum skills in geographical enquiry and links with Units 1, 5, 6 and 24 of QCA schemes of work for Geography. It introduces and explains lots of key vocabulary to help children articulate what they learn.
