This is a fiction story about the love between a Nestorian Christian man who is also a Taoist, and a lady from a Peony flower who is also a ghost. This fiction story is based on many historical facts such as the inscription of the Xi'an Stele which records the Nestorian Christians missionary work during the T'ang dynasty, and the the Eight Immortals from Chinese folktales.
