AD/HD: Identification and Assessment (DVD)

This program provides an overview of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, including demographics, symptoms, and affects on daily life. Testing, evaluation, and challenges in making the diagnosis are discussed. Gender and age differences are outlined and short scenarios illustrate the ways in which AD/HD affects individual behavior. The program also delineates known predisposing factors and physiologic variables. The role of family, friends, and associates in diagnosis and treatment is also addressed.
