Chinese Heritage

I ran into this one year in the back recesses of a university library. I borrowed it, and then bought it a decade later. It's an excellent history, and a credible attempt to synthesize the legends of China into a history of the ancient past. It's very readable and interesting - far more than many other histories I've run into... Mel's Review
