The Max Stone Chronicles is a tale of terrorism, power, and corruption. Given the present state of world affairs, the story's themes could be easy confused with reality. Stone is the hero of the novel, the first book in a series of six novels. DCI is introduced and established by the new American President, the Department is a major step forward in the methods of dealing with terrorism and security. DCI is responsible for correlating all of USA security and other member nation's intelligence gathering, sharing information and combating terrorism.
