Educated to Feel Inferior: Harsh Realities of Low Self-Esteem

A powerful, well researched book on how Black people/Africans are "educated" to feel inferior to people of other races, the harsh realities of such mis-education, and the solution to end such miseducation. As a prelude, when a child is born, he enters into a culture in which a people have developed certain beliefs about life. Rightly or wrongly, that child learns and accepts those beliefs; and for the rest of his adult life, he is bound to relate what he learns to the realities around him. Suppose a child is born in a culture in which he is taught by his leaders, educators and parents that he is inferior. It is obvious that this child is likely to develop a sense of low self-esteem in the company of others, his assumed superiors. This book, considered a wakeup call and "a call for action," explored how black children are being "educated" to feel inferior and the devastating impacts of this feeling of inferiority in Africa and among black people worldwide.
