Lord Skyler & The Earth Defense Force

Jacob Skyler's Diary;  A year ago I was just an average guy looking to get out of high school and go to college on a baseball scholarship.  Now I am captain of an Ancient Aderain space fighter and Earth's best hope of survival from an alien invasion.  I didn't want to be the leader.  Jim Kelly was suppose to be in charge.  We all trained on an alien planet with a bunch of other kids for a year, we never expected the devastion Earth took during the invasion bombardment.  I was worried about passing classes a year ago.   I never thought I would destroy half an alien battleship in space with a different tatic of attack.  I never wanted to kill anything before the aliens invaded especially with a sword.  I never wanted this responsibility but yet it is my responsibility now and I want revenge.
