The Pain and Suffering of the Black Woman in America

The inspiration and ideas for this book came from talks and interviews with hundreds of black women on my daily route as a medical paratransit driver in Chicago. These sisters, young and elderly, share with me, the pain and suffering that most of them go through every day. There is no strong black man without a strong black woman. There is no strong black nation without a strong black woman. If we put our woman down, we put ourselves down. If we lift our woman up, you and I go up.
