Applied Mathematics

This book is intended for students taking A level or similar examinations in mathematics. Each chapter of the book is divided into convenient sections, each dealing with a single concept or a group of related concepts. There are questions and exercises throughout, enabling students to check their comprehension of the preceding work and consolidate their knowledge. Some of these exercises are from A level examination papers. The text is designed to complement "Pure Mathematics" by Backhouse and Houldsworth but can be used with any similar textbook at this level.
